“City of a Hundred Spires” or “The Golden City” – there are many names that characterise the city of Prague. This is mainly due to the historical and architectural diversity. Whether you are an art lover, history fanatic or city walker, everyone will get their worth in Prague.
For many years, the marathon and half-marathon have been one of the annual highlights of the city. The half marathon course takes you over five bridges and mostly along the Vltava River past all the sights – and therefore offers a kind of city exploration of the running kind.
Now you have the chance to experience this in one package – join us on a running holiday to the Prague Half Marathon.
We’ll take care of all the practicalities, so you can focus on the run and enjoy the journey. Flights, hotel, number tag, transport to the start and a joint warm-up dinner are included – and for those who want, we also offer a guided shakeout jog, sightseeing and restaurant tips. All in the company of other running enthusiasts.

Course profile: The Prague Half Marathon course is a paved, flat and fast city loop that follows the Vltava River through the centre of Prague. The race starts and finishes at Jan Palach Square near Rudolfinum. The course’s even profile makes it popular for personal bests.
Famous sights: The race runs through the historic heart of Prague with views of Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Rudolfinum, the National Theatre and Vyšehrad.
Other: Fast and prestigious course with World Athletics status (Gold Label/SuperHalfs series), attracting international elite athletes and offering a festive atmosphere in one of Europe’s most scenic cities

The race starts in the heart of the charming Old Town, where, surrounded by mighty church towers and classical architecture, you’ll set off on a fast and flat course. You’ll follow the Vltava River, cross some of Prague’s iconic bridges and run through neighbourhoods filled with energy, music and joy. This is a course made for both personal bests and pure enjoyment.
With its perfect combination of culture, speed and pulse, the Prague Half Marathon isn’t just a race – it’s a complete weekend experience. Whether you’re chasing a new record time or looking to run one of Europe’s most inspiring half marathons, Prague will deliver memories that last long after the finish line.

Thursday 26 March
- 10:35 Arrival of the Arlanda group. We drive directly to the licence plate fair, then to the hotel.
- 18:00 Tour guides are available in the lobby if you have questions and concerns
Friday 27 March
- 08:00 Quiet morning jog. We jog past the starting area, about 20-25 minutes
- 10:00 Walk to the licence plate fair about 3 km
- 18:00 Tour guides are available in the lobby if you have questions and concerns
Saturday 28 March
- Walk to the start
- 10:00 Race day!
- 18:00 Mingle and after-dinner drinks in the hotel bar.
