Göteborgsvarvet, also known as the Gothenburg Half Marathon, is a true celebration of running. Every year, tens of thousands of runners take to the streets of Gothenburg, creating an incredible atmosphere all along the course. From the starting line to the finish, you can expect enthusiastic crowds, music, entertainment and plenty of encouragement.
The 21.1-kilometre course takes you through some of Gothenburg’s most iconic surroundings and gives you the chance to experience the city from a completely different perspective. Whether you are chasing a personal best or simply looking forward to crossing the finish line, Göteborgsvarvet offers a memorable experience for runners of all levels.
