Copenhagen Half Marathon offers a fast and flat course suitable for both personal bests and for those who want to enjoy a well-organised half marathon in a beautiful city setting. Join Springtime in fantastic Copenhagen for an unforgettable city weekend in the spirit of running!
Stay comfortably at the centrally located Hotel Richmond and enjoy the perfect warm-up for the race. We kick off the weekend with an inspiring shake-out run and a joint trip to the expo, where we pick up number tags and get a first feel of the start and finish area.
On Saturday evening, we’ll invite you to a delicious pasta dinner, perfect to energise you for Sunday’s big challenge. Once the finish line is crossed and the medals are hanging around our necks, we celebrate together at a lovely after-run dinner, where we honour all the achievements and enjoy the magical running community.

About the race
The Copenhagen Half Marathon offers a course that combines speed with the city’s unique charm. You’ll run through Copenhagen’s most iconic areas – from modern boulevards to historic neighbourhoods. The wide streets and flat profile make it easy to keep a steady pace, whether you’re chasing a personal best or just enjoying the experience. It’s no coincidence that the race is recognised as one of Europe’s fastest half marathons – perfect for both elite runners and amateurs.
From the first kilometre to the last, the course is lined with an enthusiastic crowd that turns the race into a festival. Music, cheers and jeers echo through the city and provide extra energy when the legs start to feel heavy. The positive mood and warm atmosphere of the Danish capital makes every runner feel part of something bigger.
With participants from over a hundred countries, the Copenhagen Half Marathon has become an international highlight on the running calendar. Here you will find professional service, clear guidance and a well-planned race where everything runs smoothly – from bib distribution to the finish in Fælledparken. The combination of Danish hospitality and first-class organisation allows you to focus fully on your experience and your goals.
