Warsaw Marathon

If you want to run an international marathon with a great atmosphere and an exciting city as a backdrop, the Warsaw Marathon is the perfect choice. The course runs through Poland’s historic capital, the crowds are enthusiastic and the autumn temperatures are usually ideal for running. Plus, you have all summer to train for the race.

The Warsaw Marathon is a fantastic running experience with runners from all over the world and thousands of enthusiastic spectators cheering along the course. The city offers a beautiful and historic setting, and the race is very well organised. In 2024, over 12,000 runners finished!

This year, for the first time, we are travelling with a group to run the Warsaw Marathon. Come along and run yourself or join us and become one of many supporters cheering along the course.

The start and finish are centrally located at the Palace of Culture and Science, making it easy for both runners and walkers to enjoy the city’s atmosphere. The course winds through the Old Town with its charming squares and cobbled streets, across the Vistula River and along wide boulevards lined with cheers from thousands of spectators.

During the race you will pass both green parks and the city’s most famous landmarks, providing a combination of sightseeing and running fun. The relatively flat and even course profile allows you to run fast while enjoying the city as a backdrop – a perfect mix for both personal bests and unforgettable experiences. The crowds create a great energy along the entire route, and the well-organised logistics allow the focus to be entirely on the running and the experience.
