Valencia Half Marathon
Join us in popular Valencia to run the famously fast half marathon. The Valencia Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 25 October 2026 when temperatures are usually pleasant. The course is known for being flat and fast and many finish their season with personal bests in the half marathon.
The race is part of the Superhalfs – a series of 6 races in Europe, the others being in Berlin, Cardiff, Copenhagen, Lisbon and Prague.

SuperHalfs
SuperHalfs is a prestigious half marathon series that brings together some of Europe’s most iconic and well-organised half marathon races. The series was launched to inspire runners to discover new cities through running, while challenging themselves over multiple races.
Which races are included in SuperHalfs?
To complete the SuperHalfs series, you must complete these five races:
- Lisbon Half Marathon (Portugal) – A fast course with beautiful views of the Tagus River.
- Prague Half Marathon (Czech Republic) – A historic route through the charming streets of Prague.
- Copenhagen Half Marathon (Denmark) – One of the fastest half marathon courses in the world.
- Berlin Half Marathon (Germany) – An iconic city run through the heart of Berlin.
- Valencia Half Marathon (Spain) – Known for its perfect running climate and fast course.
- Cardiff Half Marathon (UK) – A scenic course through the Welsh capital, known for its great crowds and historic sights.
How does it work?
- Get your SuperHalfs passport: When you register for your first race, you will receive a digital passport where your races are recorded.
- Run all six races: You have unlimited time to complete the series.
- Become a SuperRunner: When you complete all six races, you will receive a special certificate and a place in the SuperHalfs Hall of Fame.

Programme
Preliminary programme (Please note that the programme is subject to change)
Friday 23 October
- 10:10 The group from Arlanda lands in Alicante. Transfer to Valencia takes about 2 hours. We will stop at Expot before we check in at the hotel.
- If you are travelling on your own, you are responsible for your own transport from the airport and for checking into your hotel on time. You are also responsible for collecting your licence plate before the race.
- The fair is located at the Feria Valencia Exhibition Centre, close to Valencia Airport. The fair is open from 09:00 to 21:00 on Friday and Saturday.
Saturday 24 October
- 08:00 Calm morning jog before breakfast.
- The afternoon is free for you to recharge.
- 18:00 Leaders are available in the lobby if you have questions and concerns
Sunday 25 October
- 05:00 Early breakfast.
- Bus to the start which is about 3 km from the hotel. Included for all runners with a starting place
- The first start is at 08:25.
- We are planning an after run dinner in the evening for those who stay until Monday. More info to come.
Monday 26 October
- 12:00 Check-out and free day in Valencia.
- 12:30 Estimated time of transfer to Alicante for the Arlanda group.
