We walk to the railway station in Monte Gordo and take the train to Luz. There, we get off and walk at a leisurely pace, practising yoga to the seven pilgrim chants, partly in silence. Once we arrive in Fuzeta, those who wish to can have lunch at the vegetarian restaurant Green Spirit. A meal of good pasta and dessert, with coffee, wine, beer or water, costs €25. Full and content, we then take the train home, which leaves at 15:37.

Bring money for lunch and for the train – around €3–5, depending on whether you’re a pensioner. Bring proof of identity showing that you’re aged 65 or over, and you’ll travel for half price. The walk is about 12 km.
