A walk or run from Carvalho Beach to Farol de Alfanzina and Vale de Centeanes, finishing at Carvoeiro Beach, is a wonderful excursion along the Algarve coast in Portugal. You’ll encounter dramatic cliffs, hidden caves and beautiful beaches. Start at Carvalho Beach and visit Farol de Alfanzina for panoramic views. Continue towards Vale de Centeanes. Finish at Carvoeiro Beach and the village, a charming fishing village with good restaurants and a bathing beach. Don’t forget water, sun protection and comfortable shoes for the best experience.
The route is 5.4 km, but runners can extend it by adding a loop of approximately 6.5 km.

- 10:00 We’ll set off on our walk of around 5.4 km, with time for several photo stops
- 12:00–14:30 Between these times, anyone who wishes to can have lunch or a coffee break at a place of their choice near the beach
- Free time in the village of Carvoeiro or on the beach for sunbathing and swimming
- 14:30 Buses depart from Carvoeiro beach back to the hotel
