GolfOur training trips to Portugal offer training, sun and wonderful experiences for all levels. For over 20 years, Springtime has been organising training trips to Portugal, making this trip a real classic – often referred to as the archetype of the modern training trip. You’ll find a warm community, inspiring instructors and a wide range of classes to suit beginners and experienced exercisers alike. Join us and experience the true joy of fitness in Portugal!
Each week in Portugal includes a wide range of training with daily sessions in running, yoga, strength and mobility. You will train with over ten experienced instructors and lecturers, taking part in the beautiful coastal or mountain pass, group activities and inspiring lectures. Extra sessions will be added based on the theme of the week and everyone can participate, regardless of level.

Choose from three different accommodation options in Monte Gordo!
To satisfy different needs, requirements and price ranges, we offer three different accommodation options. All within 300 metres of our main hotel Dunamar.
Our main hotel, Dunamar Apartments, is home to our service office, equipment hire shop and our training and lecture rooms. Here you can stay in spacious apartments with the best location in the centre of the beach and close to everything. If you are travelling alone, you can share an apartment with another single Springtime traveller of the same gender. Most of our travellers and all our leaders stay here. Breakfast and dinner are included in the hotel dining room. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi as well as a large fitness centre included in the price of the trip. There is also a spa centre with a sauna and various types of treatments. However, the spa and treatments are not included in the price of the holiday.
The fresh new Prime Energize boutique hotel is located 300 metres from the Dunamar (and next to the Alcazar). It’s for those who want a quieter environment and a slightly higher standard. Awesome rooftop pool!

The Alcazar Hotel & SPA is located 300 metres from Dunamar (and next to Prime). The hotel has a nice, lush pool area and also its own padel court. Nice and modern rooms of 22-25 m2 with minibar and free wifi. The hotel has a popular SPA area and modern and well-equipped gym. The gym is included and the SPA can be booked on site. Affordable single rooms.

Hotel Apartamento Dunamar
Dunamar is perfectly located directly on the beach with private entrance and exit to the beach and boardwalk.
The Prime Energize Hotel
Prime Energize Hotel is a newly opened hotel (2017) with 105 fresh modern rooms. The atmosphere is young, modern and friendly.
Alcazar Hotel & SPA
Alcazar is perfectly located near the nature reserve with great walking and running trails and only 350 metres away is the mile-long beach. Restaurants, shops and the small centre of Monte Gordo are within
COMBINE TRAINING WITH GOLF
Enjoy great rounds on some of the Algarve’s best courses – beautiful views, well-manicured fairways and plenty of time for both play and socialising. Everything is prepared – just grab your clubs and get out on the course.

Package 2 – 235 EUR (380 EUR with golf cart)
Three included rounds – Monday, Wednesday and Friday – at Castro Marim, Quinta do Vale and Quinta da Ria / Quinta de Cima
If two of you want to play with a golf cart, only one of you needs to choose this option when booking.
Tee times
We book tee times as close to 09:00 as possible each time.
If you wish to change the time – please contact info@springtime.se after your booking.
Possible surcharges for changes may apply.
HCP requirements
28 for men and 36 for women.
Golf car
Possibility to add golf car in both packages.
Equipment loan
Borrow free of charge – We have both men’s and women’s kits for right and left-handed players on site.
Transport to and from the courses
Travel to and from the courses is not included, and play is on your own.

Castro Marim Golf & Country Club
A classic course in the eastern Algarve with 27 holes divided into three nine-hole loops: Grouse, Atlantic and Guadiana, the terrain is gently undulating with pine trees, water hazards and well-placed bunkers. Views of the Guadiana River and the Spanish border make the round both scenic and challenging.
Travel time: About 15 minutes from Dunamar
Designed by golf legend Severiano Ballesteros, this 18-hole course offers an exciting and strategic layout with six par-3s, six par-4s and six par-5s. Beautifully situated on the Guadiana River, the course combines generous fairways with water hazards and well-placed bunkers – a course that challenges both strategy and precision.
Travel time: About 15 minutes from Dunamar
Quinta da Ria / Quinta de Cima
Two renowned 18-hole courses in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, near Tavira.
- Quinta da Ria is the more open and scenic of the two, with a flat layout and great sea views from several holes.
- Quinta de Cima is slightly longer and technically more difficult, with narrower fairways, more water hazards and fast greens.
Both courses are of very high quality and offer a great end to the golf week.
