A spectacular and, at times, challenging coastal walk along the Algarve coast in Portugal. You’ll encounter dramatic cliffs, hidden caves and beautiful beaches. Carvoeiro Beach and village is a charming fishing village with good restaurants and a bathing beach. Don’t forget to bring water, sun protection and comfortable shoes for the best experience.
There will be four options:
1) A run of about 4 km – you can add another 7 km once you’re there if you feel like it.
2) A walk of about 4 km – a slightly more challenging route, with uneven terrain and quite a few steep steps, both uphill and downhill.
3) A walk of about 2 km – this too offers dramatic views and, in places, challenging terrain, but is considerably easier than the 4 km route.
4) Head straight to Carvoeiro Beach and the village for some sightseeing of your own; here you’ll also see the classic rock and cave formations along this lovely beach.
We’ll have lunch on our own in the little village of Carvoeiro.
The bus leaves at 2.30 pm
